Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 10, 2026
eTop Technology, Inc. ("eTop," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at https://etoptechnology.com or use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Contact information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title when you fill out a contact form, request a consultation, or subscribe to communications.
- Service-related information: Technical details about your IT environment that you provide when engaging our managed IT services.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and other standard web analytics data.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience on our website. See Section 6 for details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide requested services
- Communicate with you about our services, including service updates and security alerts
- Improve our website and services
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect against fraudulent or unauthorized activity
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of certain advertising and visitor-identification technologies — the Reddit Ads Pixel, the OpenAI Ads pixel, and Apollo.io, described in Section 4 — may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA. You can opt out of this sharing through the Global Privacy Control (see Section 7) or by contacting us (see Section 12). We may also share your information with:
- Service providers and subprocessors: Third-party vendors that help us operate our website and deliver our services. The current list is in Section 4.
- Legal compliance: When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of eTop, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
4. Subprocessors We Use
We use the following service providers to operate this website and our services. Each provider has its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and edge security (privacy policy).
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — website analytics (privacy policy).
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmap and session-replay analytics that record on-page interactions in order to help us improve usability (privacy policy).
- Ahrefs Web Analytics — privacy-focused traffic analytics (privacy policy).
- Reddit Ads Pixel — conversion measurement for Reddit advertising campaigns (privacy policy).
- OpenAI Ads pixel — conversion measurement for advertising shown in ChatGPT. This pixel has automatic advanced matching enabled, which means that when you submit a form on our site, details you entered (such as your email address or phone number) are hashed in your browser and sent to OpenAI so a conversion can be matched to an ad you saw. We do not send OpenAI the plain-text values (privacy policy).
- Apollo.io — business-visitor identification and marketing analytics that may associate your visit with publicly available business contact information (privacy policy).
- Google Maps and Google Fonts — embedded map and web fonts (privacy policy).
- GlassHive (HoneyCRM) — handles our contact form submissions and customer relationship management (privacy policy).
- TimeZest — appointment scheduling for intro calls (privacy policy).
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Specifically:
- Contact form submissions and intro-call inquiries: retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, then deleted or anonymized, unless you become a client.
- Client and prospect records: retained for the duration of the business relationship and for up to 7 years afterward to comply with tax, accounting, contractual, and legal obligations.
- Website analytics data: retained according to each analytics provider's default settings (generally 14 to 26 months) and aggregated thereafter.
- Session-replay recordings (Microsoft Clarity): retained for up to 13 months.
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Do Not Track
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (including pixels, tags, and session-replay scripts described in Section 4) to enhance functionality, analyze site usage, and support our marketing efforts. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain features of the website.
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry consensus on how to interpret DNT, our website does not currently respond differently to DNT signals.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of the "sharing" of personal information. When your browser sends a GPC signal, our website does not load the Reddit Ads Pixel, the OpenAI Ads pixel, or the Apollo.io visitor-identification tracker for that visit. Because the OpenAI pixel is not loaded at all, no hashed form details are sent to OpenAI for that visit either. Analytics tools that act as our service providers (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Ahrefs Web Analytics) are not affected by the GPC signal. You can enable GPC through a supporting browser or browser extension.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
9. Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right to know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (where applicable) sell or share.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of the advertising-related "sharing" described in Section 3, enable the Global Privacy Control in your browser (see Section 7) or contact us using the information in Section 12.
- Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to provide the services you request. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those allowed by law.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12. We will verify your request using information we already have about you (for example, by matching the email address or phone number associated with your inquiry). We will respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension permitted under California law.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. To do so, the agent must provide (1) written permission signed by you authorizing the agent to act on your behalf, and (2) verification of the agent's identity. We may also contact you directly to confirm that you authorized the request. Requests from authorized agents that do not include this documentation may be denied.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
